Our inclusive programs are meticulously crafted to empower youths of Black heritage across Canada, while also welcoming and supporting young individuals of all races.
Our Programs
Youth Leadership Forum
Aimed at equiping young Black individuals with leadership skills, enhancing community engagement, and building social network amoing youths, this program features forums, quizzes, trivia, panel discussions, workshop series and peer-to-peer networking sessions.
Youth Culinary Festival
Aimed at inspiring love for culinary arts among young individuals, the Culinary Festival Celebrates cultural diversity through culinary arts with cooking competitions, workshops, and highlighting different cultures' cuisines. The maiden edition of the Youth Culinary Festival is holding 28th and 29th June, 2024.
Black Excellence Project
The workshop is designed to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Black individuals globally; past, present and future, as well as to spur a spirit of excellence among black teenagers.
Financial Ltieracy Worskshop
Held every Third Saturday of the month, quarterly (February, May, August and November), this program aim to empower young individuals with essential financial knowledge and skills. The approach involves online interactive workshops, with practical exercises & sessions led by financial experts and organizations to provide real-world insights.
Kids Book & Story-telling Forum
This forum is designed for children to immerse themselves in the world of storytelling and literature, featuring interactions with authors and engaging storytelling sessions. The approach involves Interactive workshops and dramatized presentations to promote a love for reading in a family-oriented community setting.
Youth Annual Program Improvement Retreat
An Annual event, held once in December; In-person, this retreat offers a space for youth to reflect on past programs, provide feedback, and engage in the planning process for future initiatives.
It features structured feedback sessions, reviewing the year's programs, as well as interactive workshops, and team-building activities to foster a collaborative environment.
Youth Entrepreneurship &Empowerment Program(YEEP)
To empower young individuals by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to become successful entrepreneurs, YEEP makes use of a hybrid approach, including collaboration with business leaders, incubators, social venture institutes, parents and educational institutions providing a comprehensive support system for participants.
Language Referral & Support Program
This program aims to facilitate linguistic integration and support for individuals facing language barriers. This program addresses the identified needs of black and immigrant youth facing language barriers at school, learning trade/building careers, and even effective communication.
